Drugs death woman's mother makes public appeal

Kate Shanks of Elgin has made a fresh appeal to the public to help catch drug dealers after her daughter Suzanne 30 was foud dead earlier this year.Suzannes father Gordon foud his daughter in her flat in Culloden.Mrs Shanks said "drugs only lead to misery and heartache".Last moth a survey by Glasgow university discovered that the number of injecting drug users was on the increase.According to Mrs Shanks there are about 55,000 drug users in Scotland and that her daughter had become a full blown addict at the age of 19,having experimented with other drugs previous to that.
