US President Obama hosts summit with Indian PM Singh

US President Barack Obama has called Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh a fitting leader to be the first state visitor of his presidency.Obama stated that India was an important global power.The talks are going include Afghanistan,trade,climate change and nuclear energy deal signed sealed and delivered by the Bush administration.India India hopes the talks will see the finalisation of the civilian nuclear deal with the US.Last year India and the U.S. Signed a civilian nuclear deal to end 34 years of American sanctions.

Delhi gains access to US civilian nuclear technology and fuel in return for inspections of its civilian, but not military, nuclear facilities.
