prison officer strike spreads
Hundreds of officers are outside H.M.P. Liverpool on their second day on an unofficial strike.Numerous officers from Risley prison near Warrington,Lancaster Farms,Lancaster castle and Verne prison have joined them.The prison service has said it is "wrong and unsafe".A prison spokesman says "this action relates to an ongoing investigation within the prison".This strike is about the bullying and harassment by senior management at liverpool prison.It is understood that staff who were already booked for duty continued to work during the walkout.
